Nicole Adams Kraus, a Principal at DSI, is as comfortable in a boardroom in Hong Kong as she is working with line managers in a factory in Boise. Nicole brings an entrepreneurial leader’s passion for growth, a “get it done” attitude, and a zeal for solving complex problems to the clients she serves. “I’ve been on both sides of the table – running and growing a business and advising clients as their consultant – so I make sure that my client solutions are always well grounded in the realities of the business and culture.” To arrive at the best solutions for her clients, Nicole helps them work through the tough issues and choices that are at the heart of every growth opportunity.
Nicole’s consulting career has involved advising leaders in Fortune 50 companies in telecommunications, financial services, health care and consumer products. Clients have included companies such as AT&T, Lincoln Financial Group, Hancock, numerous Credit Unions and Banks in the US and abroad, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, M&M Mars, Coca-Cola and Heineken.
Nicole built her consulting skills at Monitor Company, working with companies in the U.S., Asia and the Middle East. She was also part of the start-up team at Wireless Generation, a premiere education technology company serving most major school districts across the United States. As one of Wireless Generation’s Executive Directors, Nicole successfully led product development, service and sales through a period of massive growth.
Nicole earned a BA in Psychology and French Literature at the University of Michigan and an MBA from Columbia Business School. In addition to her formal education, time spent working and living in Europe, Asia and the Middle East has given her a unique global perspective that further enhances her work with clients at DSI.
